Randall Munro (Written by) / Michiyo Yoshida (Translation) Hayakawa Shobo (Publishing House) 2020年1月23日 (Release date) Kindle version (Format) 一見日常的な課題を解決するためにあえてとんでもない方法を科学を使って探るという本。パッと見てとんでもない方法と思っても著者のように実際に考えた人がいたり行われていたりする例もあるのが印象的だった。「プールパーティを開くには」では錦鯉の池の底をコーティングするための液体ゴムスプレーが市販されていると書かれていた。「緊急着陸するには」によると列車の上に飛行機が着陸するのは可能とあった。僕も昔に他の本でも読んだな。「物を投げるには」は筆者のウェブサイトの“Throw”のページで自分が様々なものをどれくらい遠くまで投げれるか計算できるらしい。「天気を予測するには」だと温帯地域では夕焼けだと天気はこれから良くなり、朝焼けだと雲がどんどんやってくるという経験則が説明されていた。日本も温帯らしいので当てはまるのかしら。カメラうにも書かれていた。「どこかに速く到着するには」には宇宙の事象の地平面について記述されていた。宇宙の膨張は加速しているので、どれだけ遠くまで行こうが決して辿り着けない部分があるという。他にも種々書かれていて面白かった。

谷山 雅計 (Author) 宣伝会議 (Publishing House)2007年5月15日 (Release date)Hardcover (Format) 創作者に向けた本。80本程のコピーを書くといいみたい。短く解決策を提示するのが非常に理想。受取手は生理的な感覚重視。葉っぱから森を作るなんてなんとも難しい。批判を受け止めるのかしら。悪批判は脳内に入れないに限る。時代感覚は大事だ、昔の文章でも時代背景を考慮して見なければいけないと思う。

吉田 たかよし (Written by)Kobunsha (Publishing House) / 光文社新書2012年10月20日 (Release date)Kindle version (Format) 積み本？を最近読んでいる。化学、量子化学、宇宙科学、医学などの内容だった。量子論では不確定性原理があり、原子の世界では同時に位置と時間を正確に表すことができず、確率で表されるだけという。シュレディンガー方程式を解くのか。こういう話はごく一部で分かりやすくて面白かった。火の玉はリンの自然現象の発火という考えが一般的なのかしら。あとナトリウムの食べ過ぎには注意だな。ベテルギウスという星の超新星爆発についても書かれていたがそういえば最近ニュースになっていた。もし実際に起こったら昼でもはっきり明るく見えるらしい。
