宇宙についての考えは、ラプラスの悪魔と同様の意味の時計仕掛けの宇宙から、カオス理論や量子論の確率的な宇宙へシフトしたという。
マルチバース（多宇宙）は科学的な物理理論の論説の一つである。
その他の内容は迷信、自己成就予言、ありえなさの原理をなす五つの法則（不可避の法則、超大数の法則、選択の法則、確率てこの法則、近いは同じの法則）、スキャン統計、確率的最適化、微調整、尤度、ベイズ主義などが書かれていた。
あと正規分布は数学的抽象概念でしかないらしい。
