This book is、それぞれの地域に足を運んだ筆者の渾身のノンフィクションとのこと。
日本の歴史上の氏族名を用いてソマリ人の氏族という概念を分かりやすく説明しようとしていたり、様々な分析を行っていたり、読みごたえがあった。
ソマリランドは日本よりはるかに洗練されたハイパー民主主義をもつという。
そのような謎の自称独立国があったなんて、全然知らなかった。
筆者の何でも自分の目で確かめる姿勢はすごい。
情報量も多くて勉強になった。
危ないことは控えてもらいたい気がするけども、さすが？探検部出身だなぁ。
ノンフィクションというジャンルであるが、本書で起こっていることはフィクションと見間違うほどだった。
