モナコでは苦い経験もしたみたいだが、イギリスまで無事たどり着けたし結果オーライだな。

僕的にはちょっと考えが違うのだけれども、異国の地で、自分は自分の旅は特別なものだという感覚があると思うのだ。

本書ではタイのバンコクに駐在する日本人夫妻の主人の話が、著者の印象に残ったこととして紹介されていた。

旅行中取材メモをとるのが大変そうである。
著者は初志貫徹、バスでの旅にこだわったところがやはりすごいのだろう。
