著者が丹念に拾い集めたという、各地の山小屋の主人たちの話34編が収められた本。
山で暮らす人から見ると、地上は「下界」と呼ばれるのだな～
山小屋の思い出、自然、人、動物についてなどいろいろな話が載っていた。
どれもハートウォーミングだったりおもしろかったりして、僕は夢中で読んだ。
34編、みな興味深い話が収録されているから本書はすごい。
僕の父の知り合いの方の話も記されていたようで、偶然だなぁと思った。
The rest、歩荷（ボッカ）という言葉を今回初めて知った。
山小屋などに荷揚げをすることだという。
ときには100キロを超える荷物を運ぶこともあるそうで、surprised。

- The Mysterious Story of the Yama-Kai Yaman 田中 康弘 (Written by) Yamato Keiyasha (Publishing House) 2015年6月6日 (Release date) Kindle version (Format) 著者が山での不思議な出来事の体験談を集めた本。 阿仁マタギの語る話などが書かれている。 本書は怪談というよりは民話に近いのかもしれない。 狐に化かされたという話が多かった気がする。 というのも、不思議なことをなんでもかんでも狐のせいにしたということらしいが。 狸は音をまねするくらいで、あまり化かさないみたいだな。 The rest、3章の「タマシイとの邂逅」はけっこう怖かった。 Also、まえがきに書かれていたが、除雪という作業が昔はなかったという話には驚いた。 玄関先や窓だけ雪を退け、必要な道を皆で踏み固めるだけだったという。 自動車を使うようになったことで、道路や家のまわりの除雪をしなければならなくなったらしい。 昔は雪かきという作業は一切なく、ただひたすら春になるのを待つだけだったみたい。 屋根の雪下ろしとかはどうしてたんだろうか？ そんなにひんぱんにはやらなかったのかな。 At last、あとがきに書かれている著者の考えが印象的だ。 ホラー映画のように、これでもかとけたたましく人を怖がらせる何かは、山に存在しない。 むしろ逆で、しみじみと、そしてじわじわと恐怖心は湧き起こる。 （おわりに、電子書籍のためページ数不明） たしかにこの本を読んだ印象とピッタリだと感じた。 それぞれのエピソードは幽霊がばあっと驚かすような怖いものでなく、自分の知り合いから不思議な話を聞いているような感覚で読み進めることができた。 山の不思議な話を語り継ぐ人は近年減っているようだ。 寂しさを感じるなぁ。 山での恐怖心を感じるか感じないかは個人の感性によるという。 何も感じない人もいるかもしれないが、著者も言うように、やっぱり山には人を畏怖させる何かがあるのだろうと僕は思った。
