• The Performance of Contemporary Thought 難波江 和英 (Written by), Itsuki Uchida (Written by)Kobunsha (Publishing House) / 光文社新書2004年11月20日 (Release date)Kindle version (Format) 前書きによると、本書は現代思想をただ概説するのではなく、現代思想をツールとして使いこなす技法を実演(パフォーマンス)するものだという。 というのも、イギリスやアメリカでは思想を人間の共有財産と見なし、思想を実践する姿勢があるらしい。 この本で取り上げられている思想家は、フェルディナン・ド・ソシュール、ロラン・バルト、ミッシェル・フーコー、クロード・レヴィ=ストロース、ジャック・ラカン、エドワード・サイードだ。 大学3〜4年生が対象らしいが、ソシュールとレヴィ=ストロース以外の人を知らなかったので勉強になった気がする。 内容は分かりやすく面白かった。 But、僕的には文量があって読むのが大変だった。 超絶的難解さを持つというジャック・ラカン理論を本書の著者のおかげで少し読むことが出来、Interesting。 本章で挙げられたカミュの異邦人の読み方はきれいに整理されていてなるほどと思った。 おそらくカミュ自身も自分が発信しているメッセージに気がついていなかったらしい。 エドワード・サイードの章のテクスチュアルな姿勢というものも僕は腑に落ちた。 せっかく学んだことだから自分でも実践してみようと思うのだが、適切な作品が思いつかないな。
