「TEDブックス」シリーズの日本版第3弾だという。
最近僕はこのTEDブックスをいろいろ読んでいる。
スマホやソーシャルメディアの普及により、一般の人々の声が建築に大きな影響を持ちつつあるという。
本書は世界中の多彩な建物を写真付きで紹介し、建築の未来を求めていくというものだ。
様々な建築物の写真を見ているだけで楽しい。
「かたちの変化」という章の建築物が特にきれいだった。
それとは関係ないが、とりわけ僕が気に入ったのは11、20、86の建築かな。
11はオランダ・マーストリヒトのセレクシーズ書店聖ドミニコ教会店。
20はスペイン・セビリアのメトロポール・パラソル。
86はアメリカ・ニューヨークのローライン（コンセプト段階）。
一度くらい訪れてみたいものだな。
