田舎から大学に上京した主人公が学園紛争に巻き込まれていくという青春小説。
僕的にはおもしろかったな。
緊張感もあって、一気に読んだ。
しかし当時の学生運動というものはこわかったんだなぁ。
今の時代は平和でよかった…
主人公は自分とは何かという問いに思い悩む。
結局答えは出なかった。
最後の、母親のいびきと眠りに落ちたレイ子のたてるぶきみな歯ぎしりの音に挟まれる主人公の姿は暗示的だった。
女性2人に囲まれ、自分に自信が持てない主人公…
彼はこれからしっかりと自己を確立することができるのだろうか？
まぁ年齢を重ねるうちに、アイデンティティというものができてはくるのだろうけどな。
ラストは主人公のどこか不吉な将来をほのめかしているようで、印象的だった。
