WordPressについて学習するならエビスコムの本が一番と僕は考えている。
分かりやすく学ぶことができる。
Wordpressはver5.xから大幅な変更があったようで、初心者には難しくなったと思う。
新エディター「Gutenberg（グーテンベルク）」が扱いずらかった。
活版印刷を創出した中世の発明である。
僕はHTML版で記事を投稿していた。
ブロックなどを使うのがグーテンベルクの仕方だ。
それが分かりにくかったのである。
現在のバージョンは6.4であり、僕は詳しくないのだが、ブロックテーマというものを使ってノーコードでのテーマ制作やサイトの構築が出来るようになってきたという。
本書は初心者向けではない。
Wordpressのテーマ作成経験がある読者向けという。
ノーコードで制作できるようになったからブラックボックスになり、結局CSSのいろいろな知識が必要になったみたい。
ノーコードの設定が必要になったという風だろう。
将来的にはもっと使いやすくなるかもしれないな。
本書を買おうとする人はHTMLやCSS、PHPの初学者用の本を見てからがいいだろう。
昔のワードプレスはファイルにコードを入力してサーバーにアップロードしていた。
最近はクラウドのエディタを使って楽にコードが入力できる。
便利になった。
とはいえ、ブロックがでてきて初学者には難しくなった。
ブロックエディタ、ブロックテーマ…
でもワードプレスは面白いので使ってみてほしい。
ワードプレスにはopenverseという画像サイトがある。
無料で使用できるようだ。

を使用していたが、openverseの方が使いやすい。
