海外のゲーム、洋ゲーのアクションRPGである。
このGame of the Yearエディションには5つのDLCも付いてくるらしいのでお得だ。
僕がプレイしたのはXbox360の通常版だったけどPS3でも発売されています。
舞台は荒廃した近未来。
オープンワールドとなっている広大なエリアを歩いて、あちらこちらで起こるイベントをクリアしたりしていく。
ゲーム内ではちょっと残酷な描写があった気がする。
日本のRPGと違ってイベントをクリアする順番に決まりはなく、どこへ行ってもいい。
自由なのだ。
難易度は結構難しいが絶妙なさじ加減で、僕は何回も死にながらクリアしていった記憶がある。
武器や能力を強化していったりするが、進んで行くと強い敵が出てきたりしてレベルが上がっても一筋縄ではいかなかった。
慣れてくるとただ敵を倒してイベントを消化していくだけのおつかいゲーになるかと思いきや、1つ1つのシナリオがよく考えられているなと感じた。
昔の知り合いの不良たちが現れるイベントとか、謎のユートピアに迷い込んだりするイベントとか、プレイしていてとても面白かった。
僕は結構終盤まで進んだ気がするけど、どこまでやったっけか…
謎の団体に洞窟に閉じ込められて3体のモンスターと戦うところで何回も死んだ覚えがある。
その辺りだったかな？
全部は達成していないので、またそのうちプレイしてみようかな。
